The Legacy of a Visionary Beginning (1967–1970s)
The story of SABCO Holdings Pvt Ltd. began in 1967, when Mr. C. S. Abdul Rahiman, a visionary entrepreneur from the Chirakuzhy family of Nattika, returned to his homeland from Ceylon with a dream — to build something meaningful, grounded in honesty and perseverance.
Encouraged by his father-in-law, Mr. V. A. Mohammed, he decided to settle in Thrissur, a city known for its thriving trading culture. With limited means but unwavering determination, he established Star Bottles and Glassware Stores in a modest rented building along Railway Station Road.
The challenges of establishing a business in an unfamiliar landscape tested his resolve. Yet, through sheer hard work and faith, the small shop began to earn the trust of customers and suppliers alike — laying the foundation for what would one day become a multi-industry enterprise.
Early Growth and Diversification (1971–1990s)
By the early 1970s, Star Bottles expanded its operations, supplying glassware and bottles to pharmaceutical companies. The business began to flourish through dedication, quality, and ethics.
As Mr. Rahiman’s five sons grew up, they joined him in the business, contributed fresh energy and ideas. This family-driven collaboration soon became SABCO’s greatest strength.
In 1984, the Group entered into plastic manufacturing by acquiring a sick industry and named it as Brothers Plastics.
Transforming a challenge into an opportunity. Over the next decade, diversification became the Group’s defining trait.

By the time of Mr. Abdul Rahiman’s passing in 1998, the Group had already
grown into five active companies under the Star Bottles Group, each
standing as a testament to his vision, simplicity, and ethics.
A New Era of Expansion (2000 – 2015)
The new millennium saw the second generation of leadership take SABCO Holdings Pvt Ltd. to greater heights. Their approach combined the founder’s timeless principles with modern thinking.
In 2004, the Group launched PET container manufacturing in partnership with the VISA Group, embracing advanced technology to meet growing market demand.
In 2006 star polymers was established marking significant step in the group expansion, Where we started supply tailor made packaging to significant brands.
Nanopack started in 2009 to cater the upcoming demand in closures and dispensing solutions, later become a new face to our packaging journey.
Then, in 2013, SABCO Holdings Pvt Ltd. entered the steel fabrication sector through a collaboration with the Kelath Group, marking another milestone in diversification and innovation.
Carrying the Legacy Forward (2023 – Present)
In 2023, one of the Group’s earliest perfume ventures, Perfume Centre, was reborn as Scent Factory — a modern fragrance destination located at Chandys Building, R.S. Road, Thrissur. The rebranding symbolized not just a fresh identity but a celebration of how tradition and modernity can coexist beautifully.
The following year, in 2025, SABCO Holdings Pvt Ltd. achieved another major milestone with the establishment of Sabco Packtech Pvt. Ltd., a state-of-the-art extrusion blow moulding unit in Telagana. This cutting-edge manufacturing facility reflects SABCO’s ongoing commitment to technology-driven growth, sustainability, and innovation.
